lowering a gmc

ok, I was thinking that since i want to drop my truck and was thinking droping the front first so i would have the racked look, before going slammed.

Anyways i have a 305 v6 big block it's about 300lbs. heavier than a 350 well if i put some small block coil springs in how much drop would i get? also if i got 2" drop coils made for the sbc since i we'll be swaping in a 350 later would i be killing two birds w/ one stone so i won't have to get the drop coils later?

also when i get ready(have the money) to lower the back. my gmc has leaf spring in the back and it has a spring over setup would a 73-87 flip kit work w/ what i have or would i have to swap in the 73-87 setup for the flip kit to work?
