auto trans linkage?

Hey guys!

How does the linkage for an automatic hook up in these trucks? I tried to use my old 2wd linkage, but the part that should be put into the frame hits the rear front spring hanger.

I've got a 355 / TH400 combo in my truck. The TH400 is for a 2wd as I am gonna be running a divorced case, but I don't think that should make any difference...
