235 inline 6 & 3 speed FS
I have a 1962 235 inine 6 that came out of my '62 C10 running on July 11, 2005. It can be ran as is, be rebuilt for that restoration, or parted out to fix your 235/261.
It comes complete minus the coil, slave cylinder & generator. Waterpump was replaced within the last 800 miles, and a new mechanical fuel pump replaced 3 weeks back. Had a fresh tune-up back in May '05. Same time waterpump was changed, a good used harmonic balancer was put on (Dec '04). I do have a few other parts to go with it, like another 235 distributor, oil bathbreather, and the dust cover for bottom of bellhousing. It does leak some oil due to age, but otherwise is a decent beater engine for that daily driver. I also have the 3 speed manual trans with the floor Hurst Indy shifter that will go with it. I'm asking $50 for both, you pick up, I will not ship these items. They are located in Modesto, Ca. Need them gone ASAP, they're in the bed of my '62. David
