You know, I'm beginning to think that must be a regional thing b/c I've heard others say something similar. Someone in one place sees only Eaton. Someone somewhere else saw only Danas. I wonder if it had to do w/ the plant they were produced in. I think I've personally seen only one Eaton in the last 15 yrs in a '69 K20 chassis that originated out of Texas. It was a chassis cab & was fitted w/ a utility box. Of course, that said, I'll only see Eaton axles now.

My truck was originally from Steamboat Springs, CO. My parts donor was originally from Fort Collins, CO.
