YE HA! Here I come!

Recently purchased my project truck and have been like a kid at Christmas looking at this site. I have read about every post I think! Now I can finally post so I'll probably wear out my fingers typing! This past summer I rebuilt one of the engines in my boat from the block up and it has convinced me it is time to street rod a truck (a 20 year dream). I'll try to make sure I don't post in the wrong areas, ask questions that have been asked 50 times already or otherwise make a nuicance of myself (should have added, be long winded). You guys have an awesome site here. Kudos to Josh and those involved in the creation/maintenance. OK, that all said, I don't have clearance to do attachments yet but can anyone tell me (from my avatar), WHAT do I have for a truck? I know, it's a 1972, C10 with straight 6 and 3 on the tree - other than that?????
