Re: FS - Parting out 86 Suburban in southern Ohio
ric - talked to my brother and he does not have any right now for sale. If I come across a set (how many were you wanting?) I will let you know.
billybob - sorry, the lens are gone already but will probably have some more soon. I will PM you when I get some. jberkeley - can I email you a couple of pictures of the wing windows? The reason I ask is I wanted you to see them to be absolutely sure of what they are. The glass is in good shape. There is surface rust on the outside of frame. The wing frame itself has a little bit of rust at the bottem on the inside/outside. The lock mechanism is a little loose, but functions. The rubber is in 'ok' shape. It is starting to get a little hard, but still ok. The felt in the window track is in poor shape. It is all there, but might want to be replaced since it is out. Also took some close up pics of the bezel and gauges. The bezel is in good shape (I mentioned the hole being cut out for a radio). The only other thing with that is that there are some white spots on the shiny finish (can see in pics). The gauges are pretty good. Everything is there except for the clock knob (already sold) and the gear indicator (sold as well). The hands are broken off of the clock, too (didn't know if you were wanting it for that reason or not). Let me know what you think. I just want to try to be as honest as possible. This stuff is just driver quality (the reason for the low prices). After getting it all apart, I'd say I could ship it for around $25.00 by the time I add enough packing to keep stuff from breaking. That would be a total of $10 wings, $20 gauges, $15 bezel, $25 shipping.. $70..
