Motor mount question

When doing a V8 swap into a 64 originally equipped with an inline 6, what motor mounts are to be used? If I recall from reading past posts the originals can be used but need to be moved forward to allow firewall clearance for the distributor? Could this be fixed by using a smaller cap and keeping the original position? I am about to pull the 350 out of my 75 Jimmy and put in my 64 C10 and just want to make sure everything is set first.
