Where to buy wiring harness??
Well, I was wondering whether or not I should replace my haggard and hacked original wiring harness, and today a large cloud of smoke coming out of my fuse box let me know that I should. The only problem is I have no idea what kit to get, and also no idea where to buy one. I know I do not want EZ Wire, as I've seen too many of those burn up/fall apart. Here's the stats on my truck, which may help in determining which kit I need. I've heard painless mentioned a lot, but have no clue who to buy one off. I'm in Canada, but will order from down south if they will ship here.
72 chevy -Van tilt w/ just wires (no terminal on end) -HEI -Edelbrock carb w/electric choke -Aftermarket air conditioning (haven't bought yet, but will) -In dash CD player, speakers in doors -Autometer electric gauges (6 gauge streetrod set) I think thats about it that varies from stock in terms of wiring and electrical. I'll need wires and a fuse box for sure (mines a bit melted now.....). Thanks!
