Smile Newbie

hello everyone. i am new to the board.i have a 1986 c10 chevy silverado. after painstaking hours i found out it has a 1976 350 in it.
it has a holly carb , roll pan , new dupont paintjob , new custom dual exhaust , & new dash , and also a 350 3 speed turbo tranny.
i can fix almost anything if i have the right manual. however since my truck is a 1986 on the inside , and 1976 on the outside ( engine ) -- i am finding it difficult to diagnose , and fix this truck.
some of you have already answered a question i had regarding a vacume modulator , and i really appreciate that!
as I'm sure I'll have many many more questions for everyone .
