seatbelt question

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone has tried to dye seatbelts. I have a chance to get a set of retractors that are really nice and would like to dye them black. I need to change the color of the belt and the plastic cover (blue to black).

I already have the three belts and buckles that are black.


Anybody that has had experience with this let me know how they turned out and what products you used.
