Hello all! I am new to this site so heres my intro:

I am 26, and live in upstate SC right at GA and NC. I am about to buy two trucks from a friend that I work with. One is a 72 C20, the other is a 68 C10 w/ remains of a wood bed. I have always loved the look of the 67-72's and used to drool over my grandparents 72. Now my grandmother is letting it return to the earth slowly, as she will not sell it and won't have it fixed

Out of the two I am buying, the 72 C20 has a SB350 4bbl/TH400, 8 lug, rear leafs, Power brakes, manual steering and rust. The 68 has no motor/tranny/wheels, but was a manual truck, wood bed, Three gas tanks maybe? Two gas doors, one on each side of the bed, and the cab tank (someone enlighten me on this) I have seen pics of board members with the same configuration on their trucks. The 68 also has power 4 wheel drums (YEAH!). Hopefully will be posting pics soon.
