3/4 ton brake drum confusion!
I'm very confused. I ordered new rear brake drums from the Autozone.com website for my truck and they just arrived. Problem is, they don't look like the right ones to me. ?
I have a 1971 C20 with what I believe is an Eaton rear. (it has the large salad bowl center and the bolts are on the front side) On the website, they have 2 possibilities, one with a Dana rear and one without. I clicked the one without and ordered them. (see pics below) The ones shown are 11 5/16" X 2 3/4" I haven't had my drums off for a few years (truck is off the road) but when I did have them off last, I had to remove the center hub and pull the axle to get the drums off. The ones below look like that wouldn't need to be done. Questions are; 1) Do I have an Eaton rear as I described above? 2) Are the drums in the pics correct? If not, what are they correct for? Thanks in advance for any help... Bob
