Finally working on the truck
I had to take on a part time second job to get some money to work on my truck, but I finally started back on it. Rolled the GMC front clip off of it (you can do it by yourself if your careful) and pulled the engine. Seems the rear main isn't leaking but everything else is. Bought gaskets, timing set, harmonic balancer (stripped thread in old one, and I think the outer ring has slipped), new alternator for serpentine setup. Sure is easy to pull the engine with the clip off.
![]() ![]() Oh yeah, I'm gonna put a new high volume oil pump on it while it's out too just 'cuz I can.
