How many trucks did it take to make yours?
I just counted parts from at least 11 different trucks on my ride. But it could be more...
Most of it is still the original farm truck. The right fender and doorskin came off a junkyard truck before I got it (A reminder of Grandpa's last drive!) The visors and seatbelts came from a 1968 junkyard truck. A couple of small parts came off of a 1970 junkyard truck. Two of the wheels also came out of a pile at a junkyard. The mirrors, door handles and side reflectors came from a swap. The hubcaps also came from a swap meet. The replacement bed came off a 1968 Anniversary Edition truck from a board member! The battery tray came out of a 1968 GMC from a board member! The washer bottle holder and under dash wiring harness came from a board member! The fuel sender also came from a board member! There is probably more in there, too.
