Question lower a arm bump stop removal?

hey guys,
i would like to remove my lower a arm bump stops on my 71 and since there are so many people slaming trucks around hear i figured someone on here would have some advice. here's what i'm wondering:

am i going to have any issues with damaging my steering box via over steer exc?

also what all is involved with removing the bump stops? is it something i can do with an air chisel or do i need to drill or use the torch?

are there any othe implications with removing the bump stops?

if it helps you answer my questions here's what i'm planning on: 1-2in drop springs with 1-2.5 in drop spindels. total drop will be around 3in.

thanks guys,
ondrew
