Project update pics
Well I have actually been working on the truck while also doing a 510sqf addition on my house.
I decided to use Trex 1"x6" decking material to lay down for the bed. I also changed the layout in the bed to add 2 additional bed strips. I planed the material down to the standard 25/32" thickness. Eveything went together pretty easily after laying it out. Here's some updated pics: The material itself was extremely easy to use and will hold up very well if someone chooses to actually use the truck. There's still some manufacturing dust and debris in/on the bed so don't crack on me for it I still also have to wipe down the boards. They're a little scuffed up. I also received my NEW Aluminum radiator from Summit. Looks really good and you can not beat their price! Weld on brackets will be here in the next couple of days. They got shipped to the wrong address somehow? I have also gotten the wiring harnes into the dash, rear and engine compartment. The engine compartment is not as of yet run completely as I am toying with the idea concealing a lot of it if I can..That's all for now.
