Hello from Central CA

I've been reading in the Blazer forum for awhile and have just now become a site supporter. I wish I would have found this site a lot sooner. I bought a 1969 Blazer, 4WD about 4 years ago and drove it home. Immediately took it apart. [img] [img] Then moved. Started the rust repairs, floors on both sides and rocker panels. Then moved again. Rebuilt the motor, stroked to 383. Moved again (last time I hope). Started the rest of the body work and trying my hand at painting. Some parts came out allright then put it all together to give the whole thing a complete once over and then clear coat. It was the final warm day of last summer, the youngest had a football game that day and I got in a hurry. Looks kind of orange peely. Replaced the 4 speed with a 700R4 and a NP208. Fabricated a "support" for the transfer case and still use the stock cross memeber. Not sure if it will be allright. Added a 14 bolt rear end and am still searching for that inexpensive Dana 60. Installed 6'' springs in the front, 4'' shackle flip and 2'' springs in the rear. Moved rear axle back about 1'' to center it. I HAD to add a 3'' body lift to clear the NP208. I don't like it much either but I thought I had to keep the engine and transmission fairly level. I guess I could have lowered the transmission a little and not had to have added so much of a body lift. I's been a long time coming and have enjoyed it, but looking forward to driving it hopefully this summer. I am going to start asking a lot of questions so please bear with me. This is all pretty new stuff to me.

I have some pictures, just have not figured out how to attach them.
