interested party for 5k for my truck, need advice(not a for sale post)

I was moving my boat yesterday to it's new home. A guy that works down the street and drives by my truck everyday stopped and said he was interested in buying my truck. It's not really for sale, but everything has it's price. I've put alot of money into this truck over the six years I have owned it, It's a really sweet running and driving truck, I've rebuilt just about all of the mechanicals on it, engine/trans, wiring, supension, new gas tank,lines,brakes,ect... while driving it daily for 4 years, I haven't driven it much lin two years, but it is my first vehicle, I don't need to sell it,I have way more money in it than it will ever be worth, I would just buy something else, but even after all of the money I have put into it it is still just looks like crap, i want to fix the rust, paint, and interior, but haven't had the skills/tools/space to do it yet. I have a welder now and a have been practicing, I just don't know what to do. 5000 is alot of money for my truck, I wouldn't pay half that, but I also payed 500 for it 6 years ago and did front brakes and drove it for a year, before it started sucking money from me. I guess i just need the you will regret it later speech and get started on the rust.
