introducing...

Hi everyone...My name is Mike and I reside in South Jordan Utah.

I joined this board because my grandfather recently passed away and I was the proud recipient of his 1969 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4. He bought it brand new in 1969 with a camper and paid a little over 6k for both. The camper is still around although it's not fairing as well as the truck. The truck has been through 6 kids driving it, been stolen, wrecked (twice), blown engine, blown rear-end, hit a deer, and through all that it's still drivable! When I was growing up, my dad was the one who was driving it around. We would go everywhere in that truck with me standing on the seat It has a lot of sentimental value to me. It definatly has seen better days, but I hope to restore it back to the way it looked the day Grandpa rolled it off the lot.

If you got to this part of the story...thanks

Mike
