NEWBIE from Bay Area California

hey guys i was told to stop by here and introduce myself. i just picked up a
'71 chevy fleetside thats in pretty cherry condition, ive always wanted one of these (actually a '70 sb for the year i was born). i am a gun collector by trade and that was getting a little hum drum boring so i decided now is the time to find something else to dump some funds into. when i was 16 i had a '69 camaro and was forced to sell it when i turned 20 and ever since that sale i vowed that i would get another chevy sometime. well im not ever gonna sell this one, its going with me to the grave. its pretty tough finding nice 70ish chevy's out here in cali for anything but an arm and a leg, ive been looking for one for about 6 years and have seen a lot of rust buckets that were described as nice. this seems to be the place to be for classic trucks and i'll be hanging out here alot.
