Rearend Tweaked? Help!

I've finally saved some money and a little time to REALLY start working on my truck and now see that I may have a big problem. About to start painting my suspension parts up and I notice that I have a broken u-bolt on the drivers side. It also looks like the rearend is "off kilter." The overload springs are different on each of their respective sides. The drivers side is still attached to the spring perch thingie but the spring is rubbing hard on front and not touching the limiter on the back. It seems it should sit like the passenger side but it isnt. I cant really see how the bolt being broken could cause this. It still sits level too. Should I tape measure each side out? Anyone ever run into anything even close to this?
