64 Alternator/Wiring Problems.. Help.. Please..

Hello

I'm having charging issues.. I just replaced the alternator because it was bad. The guy even tested the new alternator just to make sure that he sold me a good. It tested 14v..

I installed the new and it's still not charging. I'm getting 12.20v at the battery. It died when I disconnected the battery. I'm stumped..

I have the red wiring coming, from the voltage reg, connected to the red terminal on the alternator. Ground is grounded. White, from the voltage reg, to "R" and Dark Blue to "F" on the alternator. I don't know what else to do. With the truck running, I tested all the terminals and only one "F" or "R" tested at 1v and the other -1v...

I would appreciate any help that I can get..

Thanks,
Elias
