Saying Hi
I'm kinda new since I joined about a month ago. I'm from the southeast part of NC. I have a 85 Chevy C10 Scottsdale I saved from destruction cheaper than dirt. I'm a talker so bear with me. I'm married and have one boy and one girl. I use to be a full time mechanic then went into construction for 10 years for a company. I did all the mechanics there too especially all our Chevy's. I left and then worked for the state but will give a hint as I worked with law enforcement. Some people don't like where I worked or just didn't like law officers especially the state ones. I have two degrees one in computers and the other in law enforcement. I'm disabled now but that don't stop me from the things I want to do when I can. I love this forum and really appreciate all the help from the people here. I appreciate you building this site so I have a place to read and get back into the newer styles of vehicles. I got out of mechanics around 1979 full time and lost track of the computer age ones but I'm back now testing and trying to learn as much as possible. All the guys at the Chevy dealership know me and I have some info that can come from them. Drag racing was my sport in the 70's and 80's so that is where my specialty was. I could go on and on with what I've done in life but will save you all the trouble of reading. I love camping, mechanicing, fishing, and spending time with my family. Thank all of you for your support. You all have been a great help so far. I plan on being a site supporter after Christmas. Kids come first. Keep up the good work.
