Having a set of stainless steel A arms built... Any advise???
I am having a friend of mine make me a set of tubular A arms for my 71 Burb... We are making them from stainless steel. Any advise before we get into this? I wanted to raise the lower ball joint 2" and was thinking of changing the legnth of the upper a arm to eliminate some of the negative camber experienced with a lowered vehicle... Also wanted to "relax" the B.J. angle too. Lower a arm will have a bag mount...
Before anyone starts on making sure he know's how to weld, he is a very experienced welder(fully cert.) who works for Sunoco and has been welding for 28+ years. He made my stainless fuelcell for my 91' and has TIG'd many other pieces for me b4. He also is a class A machinist.
