Spare and Jack

I have a 1966 Chevy Longbed and have not been able to determine where the spare tire and related jacking/wrenching equipment was originally stored on these trucks.
I searched this board, but found no results.

Anyone know where the spare and jacking equipment was originally stored?
Any photos of the jack and wrench and/or handle?

Or was this back in the day when men were men and just had their old lady hop out and lift the truck up in the air while he removed the lugnuts with his teeth?

Any information is appreciated.
