tranny cooler lines

in regards to :
http://73-87.com/7387garage/drivetrain/tranny_hoses.htm

mike has almost the same tranny cooler as i do, but mine doesnt have the threaded in/out ports on it, just a nipple.

my problem is after a while, the rubber hoses that connect the cooler to the stock metal lines, they start to deteriorate and leak quite a bit.

i'm wanting to add actual fittings instead of hose clamps that it has to use.

whats the easiest way to fix this problem besides buying a new tranny cooler???
