Windshield Removal Tip

I tried this and could not get my windshield to budge but suspect it is because it is about 50 degrees here. I thought about it for a couple of hours and bought some "tongue depresser style" craft sticks (6" x 3/4" x 1/16" thick). I pulled back the rubber seal inside and stuck these between the seal and the cab seam about every 4 inches. They fit in place of the hose and have a little more rigidity. It worked like a charm. I still used the electrical cord on the sides. It was quick and easy for a cold weather removal when all that rubber is so stinking stiff...LOL!
