New guy

hi everybody. i have a 72 1/2 ton longbed that i bought when we were stationed in new mexico. have used it as a daily driver for the better part of three years. then i talked the wife into letting me get a 72 blazer because it will fit the family, and i could take the boys on some fun camping trips to hard to reach places when they get old enough...
unfortunately, part of my deal with the boss is i have to sell the pickup - boo!
so i bought the blazer as a fixer upper, and by the time i got the thing home and washed and registered, i got orders overseas for four years... so my new and improved plan is to ship the blazer to my folks' house back east, buy parts online to be shipped to their place, and work on the truck with my dad when i'm on leave. i just hope it works out as easy as i make it sound.
look forward to bs'ing with y'all.
