Question about lowering blocks??

just curious, but does anyone know why lowering blocks for our trucks are $60-90 online thru CPP, ECE.. when you can get lowering blocks in autozone or ebay for $20 w/U-bolts.. is there somthing special about our trucks that causes a use to 3x more expensive block. I've heard of people just making their own out of 2x2 square tubing, anyone know why a general kit wouldnt work for our trucks, say somthing like this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bille...spagenameZWDVW
