interpreting 1951 VIN number
Does anyone out there know how a Vin number on a 51 Chevy truck can be read as far as equipment(engine), assembly location and series number of assemblyetc.? I know how it reads oin my 69- 72s, but not on the older model.
bought an owners manual on ebay for the info (since it's in the later model manuals) but it would be nice to know sooner! Thanks!!
