'72 Jimmy - Original Sticker

All,

I had an interesting question come up the other day from my insurance provider - What was the original sticker price? The question became moot when the agent realized I was talking about a '72, but it has been nagging me since. I looked a few places on the web, but all I can find is people selling stuff.

The truck is a '72 Jimmy 350 4x4 with automatic transmission, Cheyenne package, and air conditioning. I guessed original price of $7500.

Any idea on how I did.

I have attached a pic of the glove box sticker:
