Re: Question About Brake Parts Interchanging

I went out and looked at the front end of the truck. I didn't realize that the front crossmember was bolted. So that would be the way to go to change over to disc brakes. I picked up a power brake booster and MC from a 69 truck that had power drum breaks. Would that work for the power disc? The proportioning valve was gone on the 69 so I will have to find a proportioning valve. I wonder if the PV off the 85 would work as a donor? Any suggestions?
