Disk Master cylinder swap??

I was just wondering/ thinking, do you guys think if I swapped to disk brakes from a 73-87 pickup onto my 67, could I just use the master cylinder off of a 71-72 with disk brakes and one of those adjustable proportioning valves from Summit or Jegs to make it all work?? Would the M/C bolt up?? would I be better off with a prop valve from a 71-72 pickup too?? Thanks for any help you can give!!
