Just wanted to pop in a say hey. Looking for a good site to find answers for my tougher Truck questions. I am the Owner of a 1970 Stepside C-10 and a Pile of Parts that will one day be a 1941 Chevy Pickup.

Here are a few photos of the '70:

I've owned the Truck since 1999, when a Customer traded it for a Computer from the Computer Store my family owned and operated at the time (Pretty much as it looked Minus Wheels and 454, it was originally a 307.)

The Hood Ding is the leftover from a run-in with a Deer at 50mph, was lucky to come away with only losing a grill on that one; Missed a Railroad Tie fence post by about 1 foot.

Currently in the Processing of re-installing the 454 after having it re-built and built up. It was a stock '74 Caprice engine/trans with a Cam/Carb/Intake change; Had an unfortunate Oil issue (a few spun main and Rod Bearings and a few flattened lobes..).

It ran 9.00 Flat in the 1/8th in its previous form with the stock converter, 4.10 Open Rear and My fat hiney and a passenger in the truck.

The Rebuild is around 10:1 Compression with a roller cam.
