Sad day for me.
Well, i have to rant on for a bit, it has been a very frustrating weekend for me so far.I am getting married this weekend and all i wanted for the wedding was to drive my truck. well it has not moved in close to 6 years. I do lot5s of restorations for ppl, so i never have tome to work on my own stuff. 4 weeks a go i go and get my truck from the farm. my list of things to get it ready included, rewire, install new fuel tank, shorten driveshaft, redo brake system, install overdrive, make motor and tranny mounts, build new engine, install electric fuel pump, and much more, a very daunting task.
As you can tell 4 weeks = short deadline especially when you have a 9-5 job. I got everything done except getting the engine built. friday nite i go to put it together and nothing but problems.pushrods too long, they are interfering with the heads, roller rockers hit head studs, oil pan and timing cover do not mesh togeher. nothing but problems...... Now she is gonna sit till after the wedding A friend did offer to take the engine out of his 78' Corvette and lend it too me for he week, that is a true friend, but time is too short now. anyways thanx for the time, had to let it out. later P.S I am having troubles putting pics up. comp hates me right now, go figure.
