a bit of inconveinioce to go original

im int the process of restoring a 69 lwb and the cab that came asembled on the truck was rusted beyond all help
in search of a new cab i found one but the dash had been cut out for a cd player and i want the original radio in the dash
so to find a solurion for this problem worked it out on the rusted cab
there r only about 30 spot welds across the windsheild ledge so i drilled them all out and out came the dash
now i got a cab with dash still spoted in and the dash i want in
whati would like to do is not have to mess with the windsheild ledge on this new cab and i cant really think of a good way to weld or bolt in the new dash
any sudgestions?
