Need help now!

Ok my truck isnt gonna move much...so im not gonna have the long tube headers or the magnaflows very quickly. So i was thing of making my own dumps....i want to cut right after the flowmaster but would it be smart to just cut and leave it like that? I mean the flowmaster is under the beggining of the bed so if i cut right after it all the smoke is gonna be hitting the diff. and not the cab lol. But then i was thinking cut right before the last bed which is over the diff. and it will be pointing down behine the diff.. But then again i wanna cut as close to the flowmaster to see how it sounds....i dont have to do this but i reallly wanna hear it...my curiosity is taking over lol.
