My friend had a 96 (I think) K2500 with a 6.5. It was a good running truck, had nice lower end torque, and got decent mileage, from what I can recall.
At one time, we had a member here that was from Australia, and had one of our trucks with a diesel drivetrain. I believe his board name was Aussie. From what I can recall, he said the swap wasn't all that hard. TJ
