Correct me if I'm wrong re: differential ID...
I was looking at my 69 Chevy yesterday and decided to check the rear end ID numbers just for the heck of it.
I swapped it many years ago and it I think it came off a 1970 truck. It's a 12 bolt differential with these numbers:TDE 12 22 W2 TDE--3.07 12----month of Dec. 22----Day of the month W----Warner, Michigan 2-----this I'm not sure of.
