Wheels And Lowering

Hey Everybody I Have A Few ?'s Maybe Everyone Can Help Me Out On. I Have A 72 C10 2wd I Am Wanting To Put Coys 22x9 Wheels On It. All 4 Corners. I Dont Want To Lay This On The Ground And I Want To Stay Away From C-notching The Frame. What Lowering Kit Do You Recommend? The Tire I Will Be Running Is Going To Be Nothing Less Then A 40series I Think. Can Anyone Give Me Any Imput. I Saw A Guy This Past Weekend At A Car Show That Had A 4 Inch Spring In The Rear And A 1 Inch Block That Gave Him A Total Of 5 Inches. He Did The Extra 1 Inch Block Because He Said That It Would Keep His Axle Tube The Same Distance Away From The Bed. Does Any Of This Sound Right. What Kind Of Backspacing, Tires, And Lowering Should I Do. Is It Even Possable To Have A 22 In The Front And Turn? I Woul Like To Tuck These Some But I Also Do Not Want To Modifiy My Inner Fender Wells On The Front Or Rear Just Let Me Know Thanks
