new guy

hey guys, names Jay. i am from victoria, BC CANADA. i'm 32 and have been into wrenching on rods, 4x4's, bikes ect for many eyars. picking up a 70 gmc lwb tomorw, has the 307 with a 3spd stick on teh floor, eddlebrock intake, 4brl carb, electronic ignition, flowteck headers, etc..
it will be my new daily driver whil i finish up my 50 dodge truck i am working on.
had a few questions as well?
i want to lower it but want a bit of a rake to it. still like to haul some stuff now and then(MX bike, parts, lumber)
it has coils int eh rear as well. i plan to cut a coil or two int eh front and buy some springs for the back. how many coils should i cut in the front ot make it pretty damn low but still driveable? and what springs should i buy for the rear? also looking for some peep mirrors and a good bench seat swap idea?
i want abench but would like one wiht the centre consol and somehting that fits the inside nicely.
thanks
