We can do it how we like.But,when it comes to nostalgia with 67-72s you need to be from that era.These things just ain`t`50s nostalgic.The whole thing with being nostalgic is about being period-correct.It`s use what they had up to that point and/or what they were currently doing.Maybe 5 years ahead,like later in the`70s.There were guy`s lost in the`50s in the`70s,but they were "out of it",so to speak
![]() Here`s my`71 CustomCamper/20 cruising "sans camper".It`s got the aluminum slots,wide on back for hauling(& good looks).The white tonneau looks good with the paint.But,it`s job is to protect the wood floor when camper is removed.Headers,duals,cam,intake...mild perfoemance to enhance hauling ability(and it`s a hot rod off-duty)... ![]() With camper it`s nostalgic since the camper is original to the truck and original graphics painted ochre to match... ![]()
