4/6 drop

hey every I am new to the 67-72 chevy truck stuff so bare with me. i have a 72 chevy that i am going to be running a big block in. i want to go pretty low and possably run some 20s or 22s. I was looking at the ece 4/6 drop but with the combination for a big block it will be a 3.5/6 drop. I am trying to do this the cheap way and have been to car shows and noticed that the ones i see that are dropped never bought the track bar kit or the shock relocators. can i do the same or should i definently buy that stuff to. they have a kit to make it a 3.5 or 4.5 in the front with a big block. what should i do. if i do the 3.5 drop will the front end sit higher then the back let me know thanks
