Elec. help needed

Hey Guys,
Okay when I bought my truck I knew it needed a lot of work, mostly to fix the PO’s rigged up messes. Now I’ve got it where it’s running good and I’m driving it to work daily. If you were to look under the dash you would swear Jack the Ripper got loose under there with a pair of wire cutters and some electrical tape. I know I need to do some major re-wiring, but cash is low and Christmas is just around the corner, so I’ve got to keep the spending on myself down. What I would like is to have some dash lights. What I need is to have a working gas gauge. When I cleaned out the gas tank I installed a new sending unit. I checked the wire running from the dash to the tank and it’s a good wire. Now I’m not very good with electrical stuff. Can someone tell me an easy way to run a wire from the gauge to maybe the fuse box and then run the sending unit wire there too maybe? I’m just not sure how to do it. In the spring when I’m Hillbilly rich again I’m going to do it right, but for now I need to do some rigging of my own. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Tim
