71 Cheyenne Super Stretch Cab

I saw a stretched cab some time ago on eBay, can't remember the exact year but it was a 67-72. I remember it having about 6" added mid door, so the dimensions of the cab looked correct - just a longer door, and it was a short bed. I have a nice 71 cheyenne super long bed that is clean and complete that I am thinking of doing a similar conversion to - stretching the cab and changing to factory dimension short bed. I'm measuring some newer trucks to try and determine what to add. Looking for any feedback from the forum on similar projects, length to stretch, opinions, etc. I like my truck and enjoy it, I am just too cramped and I think this would be an interesting project. The oringinal truck I saw was very well executed, you had to really study it to figure out what was different about it which is what I would be looking to accomplish along with the more comfortable cab. Thanks in advance for comments.
