Another San Diego (North County) newbie

Since swapping seats to '99 GMC Denali buckets, I've wanted to shorten the steering column. On the day I found this forum, I did it!
Thanks to all the guys that posted pic's and info on how.
Word of warning though...this is an "all day sucker"! I have a '69 Chevy LWB with column auto. I had to relocate the reverse light mechanism out to the engine bay as well as relocate the bracket that gets strapped to the column at the firewall.
Wrapping it up today but already lovin the result.

Pic's are about a year+ old. She has a 350/400 with headers, Hei upgrade, Edelbrock intake/carb combo (600), VERY stout cam, new tranny. You know, the basics
