My 71 is SLOW!!!

Here's the story:
There's a kid in my car club that has a '54 3100 and I was going to race him on the 1/8th mile track near town with my '59 Apache. Well, the '59 has a major crack in the axle housing so its a no-go.

I decided as an alternate to use my daily driver '71 Cheyenne to try and whip up on him. The results were not too good. The '71 has an RV cam and towing gears out back. It's bored 60 over and I dont want to get it over 4k RPM. I made a video of the "throw-down" and figured I'd share the results with my fellow 67-72 buddies!
