How do you separate the two driveshafts????

Anybody know if there is an easy way to just pull out the rear half of a two piece driveshaft? I would like to leave the carrier bearing and front half in place.

I am swapping an Eaton with a 12 bolt, and the u-joint size is different, but it looks like I could just use the rear half of the 12 bolt driveshaft. The length appears to be exactly the same. Do these come apart pretty easy?

Thanks in advance...
