700r4 lock-up question

Hey Guys,
I bought a lock-up kit for my 700r4 from Southern Rods & Parts off of eBay this week. For the most part the installation instructions are pretty straight forward, but I do have a question, and of course they have no Tec support today, so I thought maybe one of you could help me out. The pressure switch that comes with the kit is to be installed in the 4th gear pressure port on the passenger side of the tranny right behind the 4th gear servo. Now some models don't have this port (of course mine would be one of these) and the instructions call for drilling and tapping the servo cover, and installing the pressure switch there. Drilling and tapping the cover is no problem, but I would like to remove it do so. It just doesn't make sense to me to drill it on the tranny and have chips being pushed inside the tranny. I don't know how to take this cover off. Can someone give me a little help with this?
Thanks,
Tim
