March Truck Madness
Well, I've decided that I'm not quite low enough for my taste, and my current (now former) system leaked. So it's time for round 2, this time doing a little more work than last time. It will include laying frame and all that jazz.
So far plans are a watts link for the rear, a new trailer hitch (with removable center section), KP Components notch, moving the stock trailing arms, 8 new valves, hydraulic hose, and that's just the rear! For the front I'm doing a 2" crossmember chop, relocating the steering box and linkage up 2" and both assemblies forward 1-1.5", putting a cup into the LCA, and possibly adjusting ball joint angle. All this in a week. Can it be done? Maybe, we'll have to see, but here's one day's worth of work (just me, no assistance other than a radio). - - - - - - Where did all my rubber go? Oh, that's what the white smoke was. - - - Wish me luck, i'll need it. It's NDSU's spring break, so I'll try and update this often, but I want to spend most of my time in the garage (obviously).Any hints/suggestions/opinions gladly accepted, as constructive criticism makes a better end product.
